The 1963 assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, known as JFK, was an event that shocked the people of the United States and around the world. The assassination has been the subject of speculation for decades. The Discovery Channel is premiering two investigative reports about the Kennedy assassination on November 22, 2009: Did the Mob Kill JFK? and JFK: The Ruby Connection.

President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, JFK, was assassinated 46 years ago, in 1963. The assassin was Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas, Texas. Subsequently Oswald was shot and killed by Jack Ruby in the middle of a crowd, ending any chance in interrogate the suspect about his motives and whether he was part of a conspiracy.

The Discovery Channel is airing two investigative reports 46 years to the day after the assassination of JFK. Did the Mob Kill JFK? And JFK: The Ruby Connection will air back – to – back. According to a press statement from Discovery Channel the programs are based upon new information and details that have never been heard before.

The investigative reports ask whether the mob had a hand in killing JFK and whether there was an Oswald/Ruby cover – up.

Did the Mob Kill JFK?

This program investigate the possible role that mob boss Carlos Marcelle might have played in the Kennedy assassination. A secret FBI informant stated that notorious New Orleans mafia boss Carlos Marcello confessed “I had the little bastard killed. He as a thorn in my shoe.”

The FBI informant has come forward and has provided an exclusive interview that may solve one of the most compelling mysteries of the twentieth century. The program, Did the Mob Kill JFK?, tracks the relationship between organized crime, the U.S. Justice Department, the CIA and Cuban leader Fidel Castro. Maria boss Carlos Marcello, who controlled mob activities in Texas and Louisiana, has been suspected in having a role in the Kennedy assassination for a long time.

In Did the Mob Kill JFK? Marcello is linked with both Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby.
