Heart disease is the number one health problem for women. The Heart Truth Campaign is raising awareness of women’s heart health with events such as the Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection Fashion Show. Heidi Klum has been tapped as the spokesperson of The Heart Truth campaign for the second year in a row.
According to a press statement released by Coca-Cola North America, Diet Coke has played an integral role in consumers’ lives for more than 25 years. Heidi Klum’s star power helped The Heart Truth message reached millions of women last year.
The Heart Truth initiative is a national effort sponsored by the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLB). The campaign is designed to educate women about the risks of heart disease. As part of the campaign, Diet Coke will sponsor the Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection fashion show on February 13 at Fashion Week 2009.
