Elvis and Priscilla were married in 1967 and divorced in 1973.. Their marriage produced one daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. Elvis and Priscilla remained on amicable terms after their divorce and Priscilla was named executor of his estate after he died in 1977.
Sadly, Elvis died of a prescription drug overdose, at the age of 42, on August 15, 1977, the victim of addiction. Since his death man people who refused to believe that the entertainer had actually died, spurring rumors o Elvis sightings.
