The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be making its annual run through the provinces of Canada with its message of holiday cheer, bright lights, Christmas entertainment and the spirit of holiday giving. The brightly decorated train powers through the countryside and into towns with family entertainment and good cheer.
Canadian Pacific Train Benefits Food Pantries
The CP holiday train encourages the spirit of giving as volunteers at the stations along the way collect contributions of food and money to benefit local food pantries. People gather at the train stations to enjoy the family friendly event. Volunteers collect donations of non-perishable food and money to benefit local food pantries.
Entertainment at Stops
Featured entertainers on the USCP Holiday Train include Shaun Verreault and Melanie Doane. Shaun Verreault is a blues rocker singer/guitarist and songwriter for Canadian Live favorites Wide Mouth Mason. Melanie Doane is a Canadian songstress.
Entertainers on the Canadian CP Train are Tracey Brown, a Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame member; and Johnny Reid, a Canadian Country Music Awards winner.
The Holiday Train Producer is Randall Prescott. The entertainers put on a holiday show at each stop along the route.
Canadian Pacific Brings Merriment to Communities
Canadian Pacific's train is a spectacular sight as it travels through the dark of night. The brightly lit engine and cars have been decorated by CP volunteers to contribute to the merriment of the holiday season.
The atmosphere at the stops along the way is festive. People gather early and wait to see the brightly decorated red train. Photographers ofter visit to take advantage of an unusual photo opportunity.

The scheduled stops are on the CP website for the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train in Quebec and Ontario. All times are approximate. The CP website recommends checking the arrival time prior to attending the event. Stops are approximately one half hour long. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
